Arizona to Alaska: Day 15 - Smithers

Rain all night, lots of traffic noise until about midnight at the RV park.  Got up and went to our first Canadian Walmart, then a long 220 mile drive to Smithers, BC.  I say long, because 220 miles on single lane roads that twist and turn through towns takes a long time.  The road conditions are excellent, but tedious.

We are in an awesome riverside park tonight with power, sewer, water, and wifi........in a community government park.  Amazing place, very quiet, and maybe 1/5 capacity with only four other campers.

Taking a break from driving tomorrow, and likely not going all the way up to Hyder because we are a bit fried from driving every day.............

Lots of through the windshield pics today because there were few places to pull over safely.

Roadside rest stop running.  Canada has tons of rest stops.

Hudson Bay Mtns looming over Smithers.

First view of the coast range mountains.

Campground has a playground that was packed with kids.  Nice break for Alex.

New giant marshmallows.

Excessive, but tasty.

View from campground of Hudson Bay Mountains.
