Hiked up Deer Mtn this morning and was surprised to find well over 3 feet of new snow above 2,400ft or so. Snow was too deep to continue to the hut without skis. Going up Tuesday with skis for a little ski tour. Also went out on Dude Mtn a bit so Alex could play in the snow, which like any kid, he had a blast.
