Breaking In The Motor

Finally got the new motor on the water.  Yesterday we had a little hiccup with water contaminated fuel, but a new fuel/water separator and all is well.  Went out this morning for a couple hours to finish breaking in the new motor, then we all went out for most of the afternoon.  Motor runs great, pushes the boat at about 22mph, which is what the hull seems to like.  Boat performs in chop really well, much better than expected.  Also feels very stable with the high bow and stern.  Now it just needs to be cleaned up a bit with new deck paint, wire in some nav lights and 12v power for charging.

Ketchikan.  This dock is usually occupied by cruise ships all summer.
