Deer Mtn Dawn Patrol

4:30 out of bed to catch the sunrise on Deer Mtn.  Got there about thirty minutes early, and should have had a tripod for the moon setting!  Oh well.  Beautiful solitude in the mountains.  Looking forward to more snow coming this weekend.

Weird week, where the only time we saw whales was from shore, despite covering 70+ miles in the boat over two days.
