Juneau Mountains and Glaciers

Just a bunch of scenics and beta shots for me of the surrounding mountains.  After two weeks of heavy rains and wind, the sun came out for a week or so.  Then it got really cold, the Mendenhall Lake froze up, and now it feels like winter.  Beautiful place.

Looking down Gastineau Channel from the Douglas bridge.

Mt Roberts hike.

Mendenhall Glacier from north Douglas Island.

Looking for new beaches.

Weird to be amongs deciduous trees after living in Ketchikan with pretty much only pine/cedar.

Downtown Juneau with Mendenhall Towers.

Mendenhall lake and glacier.

The days are very short now, so it's nice to spend some time outside after Alex gets out of school.
