300 miles to the Bismarck KOA, arriving to 88 degree temps and a nice pool. Overnight the wind switched to NE and the temp dropped 40+ degrees as we drove to Medora, ND. Arriving in Medora we were greeted with 20mph NE winds, rain, and low clouds. Despite all that, we still had a good afternoon checking out Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Off to Red Lodge and a snowstorm tomorrow.
On a side note,
one year and one day ago today we were at this same campsite, commuting to Washington for our first travel assignment after a hectic start to our travelling and a cancelled contract in Minnesota.

16 weeks in a city park with no sewer and bi-monthly trips to the RV dump.......glad that's over. Nice to have full hook ups again. |
